We are currently seeking an ambitious Business Development Associate to further grow our team.
The candidate is responsible for lead generation, appointment setting, sales closing, and follow-up and monitoring of all matters related to business development and support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Identifies, researches, and pursues prospects to generate new business for the agency and software.
-Cold calls and maintains contact with prospects and clients through telephone, e-mail, and mail.
-Prepares materials needed for client and prospect meetings.
-Utilizes all available resources to research opportunities for prospects and clients and provide information for client pitches, meetings, proposals, and competitor analyses.
-Follows up on all matters requiring attention, utilizing resources from across the organization to deliver desired outcomes.
-Seeks and maintains awareness of client and prospect priorities of highest importance and ensures they are given appropriate attention.
-Generates necessary documentation to assist in deal closing (presentations, engagement letters, etc.).
-Provides support to Principals in deal negotiations, contract development, and due diligence.
-Researches, identify, qualify, and targets potential clients, and develop access strategy to initiate contacts.
-Maintains market awareness of industry and clients, as well as benchmarking and competitive information inclusive of issues.
-Has fun in a fast paced industry.
-Knowledge of marketing and sales.
-Knowledge of the solar industry is extremely preferred.
-Two or more years of experience in marketing, sales, solution-based selling, and/or client service experience.
-Experience with confidential and proprietary information.
-Candidate should also demonstrate attention to detail, have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changes in priorities.
-Must be reliable, organized, flexible, detail oriented and prioritize effectively.
